Our ladies meet for food, fun, and fellowship monthly.  Our September 19 meeting took place at 6:30 in the fellowship hall, where we had 17 in attendance.  Good food was served, and the fellowship was great as always!  Mrs. Debbie McBride, Pastor’s wife gave the devotional on “Read the Instructions!”, emphasizing that there is no situation in life that is not covered in “God’s Instruction Book”, all we have to do is read and follow the instructions.  We were blessed to hear the testimony of one of our dear Senior Saints, Mrs.Reva Knight.  Following the devotion, Mrs. Trish led the ladies in a “brainstorming session” to get ideas for service opportunities and special activities coming up in the next few months.  The next meeting’s theme will be a Hobo party on October 10, 2011.  Everyone is encouraged to dress as a hobo and bring a canned good to go into the evening’s meal – what else?  Hobo Stew!  And, as always, bring a friend!

Our Ladies’ Bible study, headed by Mrs. Trish Shifflett,  is held every Monday at noon in the Fellowship Hall.  Lunch is provided; donations are welcome.  Our current study series, Proverbs 31, is nearing completion.  Visitors are always welcome!
