Men’s Advance

On Friday, April 25 our men will be traveling to Stillwater, Oklahoma to attend the Men’s Advance conducted by Bible Baptist Church of Stillwater for great preaching, singing, and fellowship. They will be returning Saturday afternoon refreshed and recharged!
Friend day 2013

This last Sunday, November 3, 2013 was our friend day. We had a wonderful day, brother Cliff Smith and their Morningside Baptist Church choir did an outstanding job. And then we had a very special song sung by our youth choir, and it was outstanding also. We had many first-time visitors, who said they would definitely be back. The altars were busy and God did a mighty work.
I want to especially thank all the ladies of Morningside Baptist Church for their dedication and the hard work that they did preparing the meal, great job ladies!! Has a gift to the one who brought the most visitors, we had a tie. Dalia McBride and Penny Rhodes each had seven visitors with them. The gift was a brand-new King James Bible with giant print, I guess now I’ll have to go buy another one… But it will be my pleasure to do so.

Fall Schedule

The month of September is our fifth Sunday month!! On September 29, 2013, we will have dinner on the grounds after morning services, then at 2:00 PM, we will begin our singing. Everyone is invited, to attend the services, eat dinner with us, and enjoy the singing. Singers are invited to come and sing with us, God honoring music only please.
November 3 2013, is the time change where we fall back one hour. That means and asked her hour of sleep for everyone. That is also the day that we at Morningside Baptist Church Graham Texas, have our friend day! During our friend day we will also celebrate Thanksgiving dinner, we will have the clowns for Christ here in junior church that morning, so bring the whole family and enjoy a great day at Morningside Baptist Church .
Morningside Baptist 70th Anniversary!!

Come join us on April 7, as we celebrate Morningside’s 70th anniversary. Services will start at 10:00 for Sunday School, the morning service at 11:00, and dinner-on-the-grounds right after the morning service!
NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

One of the blessings from the Lord is growth, and God has truly blessed Morningside! This has created a need for a new Sunday School class.
Cliff and Cara Smith have had a burden for those in college , young singles and young married couples for a while, and on October 4 the Marksmen class began. If you fall into that age group, come join us – you’ll be glad you did!

Baked Goods Auction for Youth Camp

Sunday, June 10 after the evening service there will be a baked goods auction in the big fellowship hall to raise money for youth camp. Roy Stull will be our auctioneer, come join in the fun and watch the bidding battle for our ladies’ mouth-watering creations!
May Fellowship: Mother/Daughter Tea

Our May Ladies’ fellowship was a mother/daughter evening tea, wity the theme Pretty in Silhouette. Our decorations were absolutely beautiful, thanks to a very talented decorating team! Ladies brought their favorite finger foods to share. Mrs. Debbie presented a devotion in line with the theme, highlighting the importance of presenting the best possible “silhouette” for our Christian walk. One of our ladies gave her testimony, and we enjoyed a couple of contests before calling it an evening. The next fellowship will be June 12 at 6:00 p.m. Don’t miss it!
